Before your consult

Frequently asked questions

Everything you might be wondering before we meet. If your question isn't here, bring it along. That's what the consult is for.

Your consult

What happens at the consult?

We'll talk through your date, venues, guest numbers, colours and the feel you're after, then map out what you'll need, from bouquets through to ceremony and reception styling.

It takes around 20 to 30 minutes. You'll receive an itemised quote and mood board by email the same day.

What should I bring?

Anything that helps us picture your day: inspiration photos or a Pinterest board, your colour palette, bridesmaid dress colours, and your venue details or floor plan if you have them.

Don't worry if you're still deciding. Plenty of couples arrive with a feeling rather than a plan, and we'll shape it together.

Where is the studio?

Our studio is in Nar Nar Goon, in Melbourne's south east. The address is in your booking confirmation. If you booked a video call, the link is there too.

Can my partner or family come along?

Of course. Bring whoever's opinion matters to you.

The flowers

Are the flowers real?

Both. We pair premium faux blooms with fresh eucalyptus, gum and natives, sourced locally in the days before your wedding. Faux greenery tends to look artificial, so we use the real thing.

The result looks and feels fresh on the day, holds up in heat and wind, and lasts for decades after.

What do I keep, and what is hired?

Your personal flowers are yours to keep: bouquets, buttonholes, corsages and flower crowns.

Ceremony and reception pieces are hired for the day. We install them before your guests arrive and pack them down afterwards.

Do you only do flowers?

No. We style the whole space: candles, napkins and table styling, plus custom signage such as welcome signs, seating charts and table numbers. Everything is designed alongside your florals, so it all feels like one cohesive look.

Will I see my flowers before the wedding?

About three weeks before your wedding, we'll send photos of the colours and flower varieties we've selected for you, for your approval.

These show your selection, not finished arrangements. We don't send photos of completed pieces before the day, so the first time you see them all together will be at your wedding.

How do I care for my bouquet afterwards?

After your wedding, we'll email you a care guide with everything you need to keep your personal flowers looking beautiful for years to come.

Booking and pricing

Is there a minimum spend?

Weddings start from $4,000 between September and May, and from $2,200 between June and August.

How do I secure my date?

A 20% deposit locks in your date, and your agreement follows by email. The final balance is due 30 days before your wedding.

Can I make changes after booking?

Yes. Six weeks before your wedding, you'll receive a short form to confirm timings and any changes to your design.

Changes can be made at any time, as long as your booking still meets the minimum spend and we haven't yet started on the pieces you'd like to change.

Do you travel?

We style weddings across Melbourne, the Yarra Valley, Mornington Peninsula, Dandenong Ranges, Gippsland and beyond. Travel, set-up and pack-down costs apply, and are itemised on your quote so there are no surprises.

On the day

What happens on the wedding day?

We deliver, install and style everything, then return to pack down the hired pieces at the end of the night, so the day is yours to enjoy.

Your personal flowers are delivered to where you're getting ready. We'll confirm the details in your six-week form.

In the week of your wedding, we'll send you a delivery schedule, so you'll know when we'll arrive at each location.
